How to do Customer-Vendor Integration in SAP Business One <\/b><\/h2>\n

SAP introduced the feature of connecting customer master data to vendor master data in SAP B1 version 9.2 and has been used extensively by businesses ever since. Let\u2019s have a look at how this integration can be done on SAP B1.<\/p>\n

  1. In the SAP B1 dashboard, open the \u201cBusiness Partner Master Data\u201d window under the \u2018Business Partners\u2019 option.<\/li>\n
  2. Next, you need to find the customer who is also a vendor in the same window.<\/li>\n
  3. Go under the \u2018Accounting\u2019 tab for that customer and assign the vendor\u2019s name beside the \u2018Connected Vendor\u2019 field. Click on \u2018Ok\u2019 once done.<\/li>\n
  4. Now, navigate to the \u2018Sales – A\/B\u2019 option and open the \u201cDunning Wizard\u201d window.<\/li>\n
  5. Click on \u2018Next\u2019 to undergo the set-up process until you\u2019ve reached the \u2018Business Partners – Selection Criteria\u2019 section.<\/li>\n
  6. Click on \u2018Add\u2019 to open a pop-up window with \u2018BP Properties\u2019. Now you can enter the customer code for which you want to add a vendor.<\/li>\n
  7. After adding the customer to the Dunning Wizard, click on \u2018Consider Connected Vendors\u2019 at the bottom of the window.<\/li>\n
  8. Click on \u2018Next\u2019 to continue the setting-up process and close the Dunning Wizard if you don\u2019t want to change anything in the \u2018Document Parameters\u2019 and \u2018Recommendation Report\u2019 windows.<\/li>\n
  9. Another place where this is applicable is internal reconciliation which you can find under the Business Partners > Internal Reconciliations > Reconciliation option.<\/li>\n
  10. This will open the \u2018BP Internal Reconciliation – Selection Criteria\u2019 window where you can reconcile customer invoices with vendor invoices.<\/li>\n
  11. Click on the \u2018Consider Connected BPs\u2019 checkbox in the window and enter the vendor code alongside the Business Partner field.<\/li>\n
  12. Once entered, you would notice that the connection is two-sided so that once you select a vendor, you can see the customer\u2019s transactions as well.<\/li>\n
  13. Next, you can open the \u2018Customer Receivables Aging\u2019 window under the \u2018Business Partners\u2019 > \u2018Aging\u2019 section to get the ageing report for a customer.<\/li>\n
  14. There is also an option to consider connected vendors. Just enter the customer code and click on the \u2018Consider Connected Vendors\u2019 option.<\/li>\n
  15. After submitting, you can easily see all the open transactions for that particular customer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
